I know we still have one more contest this week but I am posting the review early because tonights game is relatively meaningless and I need to get a jump on the data for the final week of the regular season.
The Eagles should win comfortably though the EYE does not see them covering the 14.5 point spread but not with enough confidence to recommend investment, so we are staying away. BUT.....
As a Christmas present to all my non subscribed readers, the EAGLESEYE is giving a FREE SILVER EAGLE pick on the OVER. This line opened at 38 and has been moving up ever since, so take it if you can get it at 43.5 to 44. Over that and we would recommend avoiding it.
That being said it was just as I predicted this week with some landmines going off in several games. I hope those of you that proceeded to invest without the priveleged information of the EAGLESEYE managed to avoid those boobytraps that were littering the point spreads.
The INNER SANCTUM of the Eagleseye had a good week and has plenty of dry gunpowder going into the final week of the regular season.
Generic picks this week were a lackluster 15 and 15 but the premium EAGLES were positive at 10 and 4 with one to go tonight.
Monday Night we were on the sidelines so our Monday Night Eagles are still a fantastic 80% and the GOLDEN EAGLES are 72% average for the last 4 weeks. (64% for the season).
This is our time. The data is solid and the teams are approaching the "win or go home" stages.
Errors and anomalies tend to disappear and the oddsmakers worry about balancing the piles of cash on each side of the lines so much, that opportunities are created for the wiley EAGELSEYE. WEEK 12 REVIEW
A disappointing week last week. Plenty of favorites won their games but failed to cover spreads. Subpar teams were allowed to score too many points and teams that were supposed to be contenders for the playoffs failed to score expected point totals.
This tripped the Eagle up this past week. We are going to be cautious this week as we see the imposters fall by the wayside and the real contenders should eventually emerge to live up to their potential.
The Eagleseye system works exceptionally well when teams are firing on all cylinders. We are entering the time of year when some teams have already thrown in the towel so vigilance in data analysis is critical.
There are some interesting match ups this week. It started with the Eagles covering a hefty spread against an average team that were allowed to get back in the game in the third quarter. Philly's defence gave up too many yards and will need to do better in upcoming contests if they want to extend their season this year.

Thanks once again to all of the faithful readers of my blog. Numbers are growing and I hope to continue to provide interesting and valuable information on a timely basis.
In keeping with my goal of "Applying common sense, statistical analysis to beating the oddmakers consistently, and in a continuously improving manner". I have done some extensive analysis of last weeks results and have uncovered some interesting numbers that will help as we continue into the second half of the season and into the play-offs.
One of the significant differences between last year and this year is the consistency level in the NFL
Last year we had some awful teams that were consistently awful. All we had to decide was how much they were going to get beaten by. This year we have a much more significant variation in the quality of their performances, and we have to know what team is most likely to show up. The A team or the C team.
It is STILL my belief that this can be predicted and therefore factored into a strategy that can avoid potential downturns in performance. Teams that are too unpredictable can be avoided and teams that are consistent can be favored.
The EAGLESEYE system is not just a guy sitting in his basement in his underwear and slippers, taking a few minutes away from his XBOX to throw darts at the NFL schedule. This is a committed statistical analysis that has proven year after year to be an excellent way to increase your chances of being in line at the payout window after the results are in.
The data this week is much like the Hash Browns at the Waffle house, "scattered, sliced, diced, covered, smothered, peppered, capped and all the way". We have sifted the data, polished the gems and discarded the waste. Thanks once again to all of the faithful readers of my blog. Numbers are growing and I hope to continue to provide interesting and valuable information on a timely basis.
In keeping with my goal of "Applying common sense, statistical analysis to beating the oddmakers consistently, and in a continuously improving manner". I have done some extensive analysis of last weeks results and have uncovered some interesting numbers that will help as we continue into the second half of the season and into the play-offs.
One of the significant differences between last year and this year is the consistency level in the NFL
Last year we had some awful teams that were consistently awful. All we had to decide was how much they were going to get beaten by. This year we have a much more significant variation in the quality of their performances, and we have to know what team is most likely to show up. The A team or the C team.
It is STILL my belief that this can be predicted and therefore factored into a strategy that can avoid potential downturns in performance. Teams that are too unpredictable can be avoided and teams that are consistent can be favored.
The EAGLESEYE system is not just a guy sitting in his basement in his underwear and slippers, taking a few minutes away from his XBOX to throw darts at the NFL schedule. This is a committed statistical analysis that has proven year after year to be an excellent way to increase your chances of being in line at the payout window after the results are in.
The data this week is much like the Hash Browns at the Waffle house, "scattered, sliced, diced, covered, smothered, peppered, capped and all the way". We have sifted the data, polished the gems and discarded the waste. Good Evening NFL Fans
Not a great week for the EaglesEye and not a great performance for some of the NFL teams.
Many teams did not play to their capabilities and some terrible plays turned the course of events against us. 13 and 15 this week although the GOLD AND SILVER picks combined for a slightly positive 7 and 6 performance.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen does the "EYE" know the birds ????
Even though the game was 0-0 at the end of the first quarter and only 10 points on the board by the half, all is well that ends well.
We had a nice home team win and the OVER. INNER SANCTUM members had a nice evening with a small parlay and a solid SILVER sized investment in the over. Nice way to start the week and a great start to the 6 week long NFL Thursday Game specials.

NFL WEEK 9 REVIEW AND THURSDAY NIGHT PICK
What a week Ladies and Gentlemen
I dont want to jinx it but the data was ready for this weeks contests.
When the dust settled on Monday night, the EaglesEye emerged with an awesome 18 and 8 record this week.
The "INNER SANCTUM" enjoyed a very nice week with 80% success on the GOLD picks.
EAGLESEYE is 17 and 7 GOLD and has a Monday Night Record of 7 and 1.
Looking around at other Handicappers, we are sitting very respectably in the top percentiles.
We have 14 games coming up this week, beginning with a Thursday Night Battle of the Birds.
Baltimore Ravens travel to Atlanta and this should be a great game. Good Offence and Good Defence doesn't happen very often in the NFL these days. The line is currently Falcons -1.5 primarily because they are at home. The over under is a tantalizing 43.5. The EYE see's this as a virtual pick'em, however, we see the home team Falcons winning by a field goal and we are over on the total.

Week 8 was nothing to write home about. Several games were completely off the charts and some over unders were very hard to forsee and therefore almost no one was predicting them.
Even though the Eagleseye performance was below our usual standard, compared to other leading prognosticators we were in the highest performance percentiles.

As I pointed out last week, it would be interesting to see what happened this weekend after the Commissioner took a heavy handed approach to the Helmet to Helmet hits of the previous week.
Well we got the highest scoring weekend of NFL football for 25 years. WOW.
All in all it was a very respectable 17 and 11 for the EaglesEye.
Most importantly the SOLID GOLD selections went 3 for 3 and now stands at 11 of 14 or 79%.
Our INNER SANCTUM members should be very happy with that.

WEEK 6 review
Phew
I am so glad that week 6 is in the rear view mirror. There were a several teams that failed to show up this week, let alone play to their average capability. Some teams that were favored and should have won did, but not convincingly enough. Others rolled over and lost to teams by far more than expected. This was particularly evident in the Monday Night duel between Jacksonville and Tennessee. Errors and Penalties cost scarce scoring opportunities and unlike last weeks game there was not the 27 point 4th quarter to bring it home.
The numbers are being crunched and this weeks predictions are on their way.

That was quite a week. So so performance on the face of it, however for those of you that are members, it was solid. The EaglesEye Monday night record now stands at an outstanding 100% (3 for 3).
It has outperformed every legal investment vehicle that I am familiar with, and we are going to keep it going this week with the Jags and Titans.
I have to admit it looked pretty grim for Three Quarters of the Jets / Vikings contest but the OVER was covered handsomely during the Fourth Quarter. Good Evening Sports Fans
Week 4 is upon us and we are faced with the refined skills of the Las Vegas Oddsmakers and boy do they have some teasers for us this week. However, the Eagles Eye has some tricks up his sleeve this week.
There are a few headscratchers but all in all there is some form to this week’s opportunities. My picks this week are not rated because our members are getting the good stuff via private email this week. We are open for business.

WEEK 3 REVIEW
In general, a much more predictable week. The Eagle's Eye picks had a SOLID 5 wins and 2 losses in the Gold and Silver categories. This was on top of a 7 and 2 week last week. Over Under total went 7 and 8 and the Picks total was 10 and 6. Over Unders are still in need of some refinement so we are going to run some additional screens on the data this week.
The lines are established for the week and all the data is in. The eagleseye has recovered from that appauling 4th quarter performance by the Green Bay Packers last night that cost us an 80% week and is ready to go to work. We are live and kicking this week so for those of you who are signed up, watch your Inbox.

FREE NFL PICKS WEEK 3

This week has some large point spreads to contend with and some very tight contests that will be interesting to watch. We are getting more in tune with these teams and the predictions are beginning to jump off the sheet. Once again the BRONZE picks are not to be trusted with any degree of confidence but only to confirm or refute your own suspicions. The SILVER are gaining confidence every week and though fewer in number as the data refines, they will provide handsome rewards. GOLD need no explanation. From 7 and 6 Week 1 to a healthy 2 and 0 last week, LOCK AND LOAD. Unfortunately we have only one GOLD pick this week but let's keep an eye on the SILVER.

WEEK 2 PICKS REVIEW
Another great weekend of NFL Football. There is so much good news this week that I do not know where to start. First of all, the data is shaping up nicely and we are now seeing who are for real and who are the posers.
The Eagles Eye is in a contest with other handicapping systems and so far we are running 2nd OVER UNDER and 3rd ATS Picks. That should tell you that these first few weeks are truly, truly a total Crap Shoot. Unfortunately in this contest a pick for each game has to be entered therefore the results are a little distorted but we are going to try and hit the front this weekend and stay there till the end of the season.
This was definitely another week to watch, listen and learn as the Vikings fell to the Fish and the Cowboys were mauled by the Bears. Well fortunately the data is definitely starting to make sense.
The BRONZE picks that on a regular week we would not even touch followed a winning Week 1 performance with a resounding THUD !!!!!!!!!!!! This is to be expected and should not cause any alarm. There is great comfort to be taken in the fact that the SILVER picks were 3 and 2 this week.
The FANTASTIC news is that the GOLD picks were 2 and 0 (KC and Clev UNDER and GB -13). These are our Bread and Butter. These are what this system is all about.
We are going to wait one more week to confirm and adjust and then we are off to the races. Of course if you want to pull the trigger early that is entirely up to you.

There are no significant line moves as of Friday night so we are set with the picks from the previous post.
Merriman is a game time decision for San Diego, Vick is starting for the Eagles which might mean trouble for Detroit. Jake Delhomme is doubtful for Cleveland so I like the KC pick even better.
All in all it should be another excellent week of NFL action. The data points get stronger with every down and the EaglesEye is raring to go.

Well there were some entertaining games to open the season but it certainly reinforces our decision to wait for some data. Again we are on the sidelines this week although if I were in Vegas this weekend I would be all over a few of these.

NFL WEEK 1 FREE PICKS REVISED
A disappointing opener between the Saints and the Vikings wasn't it ? The good news was that at kick off the line was 4.5 so technically the New Orleans pick was correct, however the lack of scoring proved that the decision to hold back on the first week of football is also correct.
I am also renaming 3 star picks GOLD, 2 star are SILVER and 1 Star BRONZE.
LINE MOVES in recent hours have made the following analysis necessary.
Carolina v Giants line is now Giants -6 so our CAROLINA +6 is still a solid GOLD pick.
Over Under still SILVER at OVER 41
Miami v Buffalo UNDER 39 still BRONZE however the move to Miami -3 makes MIAMI -3 a new BRONZE selection.
Atlanta v Pittsburgh O/U up a point to 38.5 downgrades our OVER 38.5 to SILVER. ATLANTA -1.5 from -2.5 is a solid improvement in our formerly weak BRONZE pick.
Detroit v Chicago remains a solid SILVER CHICAGO -6 proposition however the O/U to 44.5 moves our weak over pick to an even weaker BRONZE UNDER 44.5 selection.
Cincy v New England is getting a lot of attention the lines is bouncing around more than an Antonio Freeman from Brett Favre completion. As of now we are down to SILVER on the UNDER 44.5 and we now have a BRONZE BENGALS +5 selection. This game could be more fun to watch than the Packers v Eagles game.
Cleveland v Tampa Bay is quiet. We are still Solid SILVER BUCS -3 and we have been given a little more confidence with our BRONZE UNDER which is now 37.5
Denver v Jacksonville has moved to Jack -3. Thanks for the extra half we are SILVER DENVER+3. We are also grateful for the extra point for our now SILVER, (formerly bronze), UNDER 40.5 pick.
Colts v Texans now Colts -3 we reamin totally on the sideline and we are still BRONZE UNDER 47.
Oakland v Tennessee we remain SILVER TENN -6.5 and BRONZE OVER 40.5
Packers v Eagles line is now Packers -3. this takes us off of this game but we are now SILVER over 47.5. This game has a lot of promise for football fans. I hope it does not cause too many Packer fans to chew their fingers down to the knuckels.

Arizona v St Louis I don't know if this is increased confidence in St Louis or waning confidence in Arizona but ARIZONA -3.5 is now SOLID GOLD and we are still solid SILVER OVER 39.5.
Dallas v Washington has moved a point but is still BRONZE UNDER 39.5 but a move to Dallas -3 has given us the green light to go BRONZE DALLAS -3.
Baltimore v Jets was a weak pick and is now even weaker at BRONZE OVER 36.5 but we remain solid SILVER with BALTIMORE +2.
San Diego v Kansas City A big 1.5 point move makes a weak Silver pick into a SOLID SILVER SAN DIEGO -4.5 selection and we have a little more confidence in our BRONZE UNDER 45.5 pick.

The 4 picks that are classified as 3 STAR worthy are for you impatient guys that are itching to pull the trigger and were probably investing in the outcomes of the pre-season try-outs.
CINN/NEW ENG UNDER 45.5 This line opened at 43.5 and has received a lot of attention from the over excited bengal fans. NE opened at 5.5 pt favs and this has been wagered down to 4.
PITT/ATL OVER 37.5 This line opened at 40 and Pitt being favored by 1. PITT are now 2.5 pt dogs.
CAROLINA +7 V NYG This is an awful lot of points for a Carolina team who are usually very good at keeping opposing offenses under 20 points.
VIKINGS/SAINTS OVER 48 Once again a large number for the season opener, but this is going to be a slugfest. Minnesota allows 24 pts + average when they are on the road and New Orleans score 30 wherever they play. They have moved the line down to 48 from an opening of 51 to even the book but the eye see's 59 pts here in this supergrudge first game of the new season. Shame more people won't be able to see it.

CAROLINA +7 V NYG This is an awful lot of points for a Carolina team who are usually very good at keeping opposing offenses under 20 points.
VIKINGS/SAINTS OVER 48 Once again a large number for the season opener, but this is going to be a slugfest. Minnesota allows 24 pts + average when they are on the road and New Orleans score 30 wherever they play. They have moved the line down to 48 from an opening of 51 to even the book but the eye see's 59 pts here in this supergrudge first game of the new season. Shame more people won't be able to see it.

For those of you who are new to the Eagles Eye, here is a brief outline of the mission.
In 2002 I began applying some scientific theories to the task of uncovering opportunities created by oddsmakers in Las Vegas. This was after an earth shattering comment by a good friend of mine. He reminded me that the object of the point spread was not to predict the result but to create two piles of money on each side of the wager. Thus allowing the oddsmakers to thrive off of the little taste which is taken out of both piles of money.
This common sense revelation hit me like a bucket of cold water !!!
Since then I have been applying my craft, developing a system that can beat these odds week after week.
As with anything that involves human behaviour, there are always anomalies, however, my system is designed to factor these out and return a significant profit that far outweighs the risk.
